Diwali Celebration

Diwali Celebration was celebrated on 30^th Oct. 2013 in Firstep Centre. Diwali is festival of light. Students came in colourful dress and enjoyed Diya making activity. Diwali greeting card making by students. Teacher wish everyone & spoke on safety measures to be followed while burning crackers.

Lantern making Competition

Lantern making competition was held on 29^th Oct. 2013 in Firstep Centre. Students make lantern with craft paper & decorate the corridors & windows by them. Students actively participated in this activity & enjoyed it.

DIWALI CELEBRATION

Mother Mary’s English High School, Nallasopara(W) firstep pre-primary students was  celebrating Diwali on 30^th October 2013. Teachers put rangoli using flower petals. Students came in colorful dress. They also enjoyed bursting crackers.

Dussehra Celebration

Dussehra Celebration was celebrated on 11^th Oct. 2013 in Firstep Centre. Teachers explained story of Ravan. Cutout of Ravan was displayed. Dussehra Celebrates the triumph of good over evil and the prevalence of truth above all.

Navratri Celebration

Navratri was celebrated on 9^th Oct.'13 at Firstep Centre. A theme was created and teachers explained why it is celebrated. Mirror sticking on art sheet was conducted.  Children were dressed in brightly coloured chanya choli and enjoyed garba dance & dandiya.

Garba Raas

Garba is a GUJARATI folk dance celebrated in Navratri…. A celebration lasting 9 nights. The traditional costume of the Garba Dance is red, pink, yellow, orange and brightly coloured Chanya Choli. They also wear heavy jewellery.

Field Trip

Children learn best by doing and interacting with the world outside & more they are exposed. So this was very exciting trip to Mall for the students of Firstep Mother Mary’s, Nallasopara (W). Kids were very enthusiast when they were taken to Toy zone and also to chocolate counter.

The children that poured in were so enthusiastic & eager to play in the garden. They enjoyed the rides very happily.
