GRAND PARENTS DAY CELEBRATION

Firstep Centre celebrated Grand Parents Day on 1^st October 2013.Teacher explain the importance of grandparents day. Children prepare the greeting card for their grandparents. They were very excited to give the greeting card to their grandparents as a token of love.

Grandparents Day has a threefold purpose:

·         To honor grandparents

·         To give grandparents an opportunity to show love for their children’s children.

·         To help children become aware of the strength, information and guidance older people can offer.          

Grand Parents Day 

     Grand Parents Day was celebrated on 5th Oct'13 at Firstep Mother Mary's Nallasopara (W). Students of pre-primary section had prepared greeting cards to their Granny & Grand Pa. The invited Grand Parents were happy to see their grand children activities and praised them.

BLUE DAY CELEBRATION

 

Firstep Centre celebrated Blue Day on 30^th September 2013. Children came in Blue colour outfits. Balloon family going to the Beach was the theme. Cutouts of boats, clouds, birds, waves, boy & girl & blue objects were displayed. Teacher explain the importance of blue. Cotton bud dabbing activity was done.

                      BLUE DAY CELEBRATION

                                       

        Firstep Mother Mary's Nallasopara(E) celebrated  Blue day 27^th Sept. 2013. Kids enjoyed coloring the fishes with blue crayon on art sheet and teachers displayed blue objects so that children will be aware of the color. The classroom was decorated with Blue balloons.

RAINBOW DAY

Rainbow day was celebrated on 25^th September 2013. Rainbow story was narrated then different colours of dupattas were displayed in the rainbow order. Children also came in different colour outfit. Straw sticking activity was done. Children enjoyed the activity.

FIELD TRIP

Firstep Centre visited to Ganesh Utsav Mandals on 17^th Sept. 2013. Ganesh Story was narrated by the teachers to the students. Children did pooja & sang Arthi songs. Than they dance & enjoyed the field trip.

Ganesha Festival was celebrated on 10th Sept'13 very enthusiastically by the students and teachers. Children enjoyed paper crumpling activity on art sheet.
